Got parts coming in. Boost block and turbo should be here soon. Have to assemble, will do that after some machine work to handle the powah and keep it sealed at ~25 psi and high rpm.

Engine? I really hope you say a gm v-6, but I'm guessing not.

Ohh, you're right with the hope there.
It's a 3800 Series II. Single turbo w/ a Garrett T67. I'm not going the V8 route, guess I'm a bit of a masochist.

In all seriousness, the v-6 line was gm's great untapped resource of the aughts. Somehow it didn't occur to anyone that a well built sedan with an all aluminum pushrod v6 might be a good idea. Instead, they somehow managed only 200 hp out of a 3.4l (250 c.i.). I'm not some "efficiency" Nazi, but at some point your engine has to make a certain hp/liter (hell per anything) to be effective. GM had the ability to do all of this, but was too busy making money hand over fist selling hummers to bother spending money on actual automotive development. Except Cadillac. Somehow they managed.

Yup, they (SLP) even put a supercharged V6 in a 4th gen F-body, it was dangerously close to the LT1 in 1/4 mile times, it got axed. GM had experimental aluminum heads for the 3800 Series II, that got shelved. Only a few well connected guys have those in their possession.
There's some interesting developments now in the V6 community, some guys are just crazy enough to do it. Some have gone V8 and remained there, others have come back to build something bigger. It's a small, tight nit community and I love it.
I already have done a lot to my car already, the tubocharging is pretty much the last step. I don't plan to make this a caged race car, I want to enjoy it on the street with my wife and kids out on a cruise and stuff like that.

You just gave me my new motto for the car!

I have an 04 Grand Am, which I hate. Not because it's a bad car (it really is), and certainly not because I dislike the engine, but because it's a painful reminder of GM's piss-poor management.
The 60v6 guys are similar. With some ls springs and aftermarket rockers, a basic intake manifold port and a larger throttle body, you can add 20hp. That's stupid. A slightly more aggressive cam, and you can add another 20. Those aren't the exact numbers, but it's entirely to easy to add 40 hp with little to no effort. Like, five hundred bucks gets you rockers, springs, an intake port and new throttle body. They're awesome guys, and they're doing God's work. Well, GM's work. I just wish there was a better chassis to put the motor in (and heaven forbid, a manual transmission).

Well you might be entertained as to who is building my top end package and spec'ing out my camshaft.
WOT-Tech.
I think that's Ben who originally ran WOT-Tech and also John Caraher who used to run 60°Inclusive. They merged and now are doing a joint effort on the 60° engines, 90° Series II/III's and also branched into the BMW market lol!
It's gonna be a fun project. Bigger valves, sheet metal intake manifold, and a lot of flow to get the turbo working efficiently!
If you want an entertaining/enlightening read on my project:

Grab some popcorn and a soda lol! There's a bunch of links at the first part that branch to other small parts of the project.
